Savoy ISD participates in the National School Breakfast and Lunch Programs and offers students nutritionally balanced meals daily. Applications for the Free and Reduced priced meals are available based on financial need. Information about a student’s participation is confidential. Lunch applications can be picked up in the school secretary offices or see Georgena Green, Child Nutrition Director to apply.

In case a student forgets their lunch money they will be allowed to charge up to $15.00. Once the student’s account is in the negative, a reimbursable meal may be charged, no snacks or a la carte items will be sold even if the student is paying cash. When the student has reached the limit of <$15.00> they will be offered a sandwich and milk or crackers/cheese and milk as an alternative lunch until the negative bill has been cleared. The alternative lunch will be billed to the Administration Office. The Child Nutrition Department will make contact with the parents on negative bills by e-mail, a note sent home with the child in folder, or a telephone call.
