I enjoy teaching at Savoy Elementary School. For many years, I was teaching students from 6th through 9th grade, and it was ok, but didn't compare to the enjoyment I've found  teaching 4th and 5th grade.
                                                                                                                                                       


        I work for a terrific superintendent and principal. I also work with a great bunch of teachers!!  The rest of our staff is just as enjoyable to be around. No, I'm not overly optimistic.  They just happen to be great to work with.
   
                                                                                                                                                                                                   
       I've lived in Sherman, Texas, since 2003. That's the year that my mom went to heaven, Seth my grandson was born, and I moved to Texas and married my husband.

         


       I have two living miracles. One is my 6 year old grandson, Dakota, who survived Aplastic Anemia. The second is my daughter, Beth, who survived (AML) Leukemia.  There are many other blessings I can name, but these, I guess,  will always be among the top.


       My husband is a preacher.  He not only preaches about  God's  love, but he lives it.
   He is presently the pastor of Southmayd Baptist Church.



      Every summer I get to enjoy my grandkids who come visit me for a week.  Three are still too young to make the trip, but their time is coming.

                                                                                                                                                                                                             
    I've finally reached the age where I can accept  the fact that  no amount of make-up will make me look young again, so what you see is what you get. It's a good thing it's what's on the inside that counts.

           A warning.  I am not perfect,, so I will make mistakes. I can promise one thing. I will always try my best and readily listen to whatever you have to say..  I've been known to act crazy, but that usually depends on the setting.
