I am very fortunate to have grown up in the North Texas area.  I graduated from Whitewright High School, attended Grayson College, and received by Bachelor's degree from A&M Commerce.  I have had the opportunity to teach 2nd grade in an exemplary elementary  with a very supportive staff for the last twelve years.  Teaching is very rewarding to me, and I enjoy watching students grow in knowledge.

Family is very important to me.  I have been blessed with a great family; my husband Chuck, and three sons, Jake, Dave, and Mark. In  April 2007,  we added our first daughter to the family and only time will tell the rest of the story!  Jake and Charity just bought a house in Highland Village, and he is a High School Speech teacher. Dave just graduated from UNT while Mark continues college.  Two down and one to go!   Also, I must share with you my dachshund,
Black Jack, our Himalayan cat, Mick, and our Siamese cat, Missy.
