I am a native of Savoy and graduated from
Savoy High School. I have been blessed with a wonderful family
which consists of my husband Steve of 23 years and my two teenage sons
Jared and Derek. I also have a very energetic Golden Retriever
named Kelsey who has been apart of our family for about 9 years. I
enjoy many activities including spending time with my family, camping
trips especially to Beavers Bend, family gatherings and cookouts,
singing and playing the guitar with the "County Line" band, working in
my yard, decorating my home and exercising.
I have taught at Savoy Elementary for 14 years
and have enjoyed seeing so many talented students participate in our
school musicals, Christmas programs, DARE programs and Spring Recorder
concerts. I also have had the pleasure of working with many
parents and grandparents who have so willingly given of their time and
talent helping with our school programs. My desire it to help
introduce music to the students' lives in a positive way and help build
confidence in themselves to accomplish the goals ahead of them. I am looking forward to another great year!
